Promote Physical Education

Pe graph

Physical Education is an important factor in creating a comprehensive nutrition policy. The importance in pairing a healthy diet with physical activity may seem obvious, but the school system is still slow to promote either one. Experts have said that children should get 225 minutes of physical activity a week. That comes out to fifty minutes of physical activity a school day, but not all children are receiving the opportunity for PE class every day. Only 3 in 10 high school students are physically active for sixty minutes or more.
